ASL Storytelling Live Classes for DHH Students

ERCOD’s ASL Storytelling Live is growing and we would like to invite you to try it out.

In response to increased demand we are expanding our ASL Storytelling Live classes.  These classes target young deaf and hard of hearing students in Texas by offering free half-hour storytelling sessions by experienced ASL storytellers through videoconferencing.  Our main focus is elementary and middle school students but we have included some high school classes also.

We have hired several new Guest ASL Storytellers and have set up a second ASL Storytelling Studio.  This means that we will be able to schedule two classes simultaneously when needed.  Check out our website at ASLStorytelling.org to learn more about ASL Storytellling and meet our new Guest Storytellers.

If you are interested in signing up just fill out the online request form at

http://tsd.formstack.com/forms/aslstorytellingrequest

We have identified several new technology options for bringing videoconferencing into the classroom.  We will be glad to work with you and your technology team to find a solution that works for you.

If you are interested in a few trial classes this year to see if this program is right for your students, this is a great opportunity to try it out.

Thanks so much,

Sonia Bridges
